“T
hey’re the most undercover nicest people I know.” It was a sentiment spoken during the toasts at Liz and Scott’s wedding. The toasts shed a few tears and raised glasses, and made everyone laugh. Everyone was having a great time celebrating the happy newlyweds on their big day.
Liz and Scott’s relationship is playful and fun, reflecting their whimsical and colorful wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona, California. Their historic venue is also known as Amy Strong Castle, named after the famous San Diego dress designer who built it. The castle is beautiful with stone walls, cobblestone paths, huge arching trees, and rose gardens. It’s a sprawling venue, but feels private. Their wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle was so much fun and it centered around enjoyment with their dearest family and friends. Cocktails were served before and after the ceremony, with lawn games for guests to play.
Mt. Woodson Castle was built in the 1920s and served as a beautiful backdrop to Liz and Scott’s wedding photos. The fun couple’s modern and playful wedding with non-traditional flare and whimsical details contrasted nicely with the historic feel of Mt. Woodson Castle. The inspiration from their wedding started when Liz fell in love with the idea of floral bridesmaids dresses. Pops of pastels in pink, blue, and lavender complimented her Spring wedding.
Below are some favorite photos from Liz and Scott’s wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona, CA.

Liz and Scott opted to see each other for the first look. Both of them seemed to radiate when they first saw each other.
Liz made a beautiful bride. Liz is outgoing, has a bubbly personality, and loves to have fun. Not to mention, she has an incredible singing voice, which she showed off during her serenade to her husband. 😉
Liz describes her husband as logical and likes to think things through fully. He loves craft beer and even brews himself. The quiet engineer was all smiles that day!
We took photos in the castle rooms as well, including the Zodiac room. This portrait of the bride reminds me of oil paintings.

Guests mingled, enjoying cocktails and lawn games before the ceremony on the front lawn at Mt. Woodson Castle.
They’re MARRIED!!! Liz has some hops.
