Jaime + Brennan are Married! | St. Francis Chapel and The Prado Wedding at Balboa Park

They waited a long while for this day. Jaime and Brennan have been together for over a decade. The two of them met in college, and have watched each other grow. They were friends first before anything else, and their relationship is strong enough to weather the often challenging growing pains from college years to adulthood.  On an absolutely perfect Spring day in San Diego, California, they vowed forever with their closest friends and family as witness to their marriage.

Below are some photos of Jaime and Brennan’s beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Francis Chapel.  Their wedding reception followed at The Prado at Balboa Park in San Diego, California. Jaime and Brennan’s Spring wedding was understated and sophisticated with a Sinatra-esque feel. Their decorative details were romantic blush and soft creams that contrasted beautifully with metallics like gold and rose gold. It was a lovely mix of classic and modern.

I love this photo of the bride in her robe, sipping rose champagne and admiring her wedding dress. The bride and groom both got ready at a charming hotel called, “Inn at the Park.”

The bride and groom’s engagement and wedding rings matched their wedding invitations!

Jaime’s bridal accessories are simple yet make a statement. I especially loved her rose gold hair comb.

The girls got their and make up done as they sipped champagne in their beautiful kimonos and robes.

Meanwhile, the gentlemen made sure bowties were perfectly tied.

The groom, Brennan, couldn’t wait to see his gorgeous bride!

This photo of the bride’s mom adjusting her daughter’s long, cathedral veil is one of my favorites.

Jaime and her mom are very close and it was touching to photograph the quiet moments before the bride walked down the aisle.

Jaime’s dad held back tears when he saw his only daughter as a bride for the first time.

Upstairs from the bridal suite at St. Francis Chapel, the ring bearer gets ready for his trek down the aisle. 🙂

I love this romantic photo of the newlyweds in wedded bliss under the bride’s cathedral veil.

We strolled through Balboa Park, through the Spanish arches, and market lights before we headed to The Prado.

The Prado at Balboa Park is where their wedding reception was held. Round tables were decorated with rose gold sequins, gold chargers, and pink and creamy white floral centerpieces. 

Why choose between cupcakes and a two-tiered cake when you can have both? (And eat it too!) 🙂 I love that Jaime and Brennan incorporated their sassy pup, Lola on their cake topper.

The newlyweds impressed everyone with a choreographed dance to “Beyond the Sea,” by Frank Sinatra…complete with lifts and dips! Their wedding guests loved it!

I love this photo of the newlyweds sharing a kiss at their sweetheart table.

Toasts during the evening were both touching and funny.

During reception, Jaime and Brennan snuck out to the balcony that overlooked the Prado’s garden below.

It was a perfect wedding day for the beautiful couple!
