T hey say the greatest love is one that makes you a better person. One that challenges you to be the best version of you. Jessica and Tyler do that for each other.
If you’re lucky, your greatest love will also open your heart and ears to better, soulful music, as Tyler did for Jessica (who is an unapologetic fan of pop music). Fast forward eight years of dating, they find themselves dancing to “Forever Mine” by The O’Jays on their wedding day.
They met eight years ago through a mutual friend and have become each others’ steadfast love. Little did Jessica know that her leap of faith to move to San Diego would be the beginning of that one-of-a-kind love.
Their milestones as a couple are anchored at sea: it’s where Tyler officially asked Jessica to “go steady” and be his girlfriend; five years later, it’s where Jessica, in tearful awe, agrees to marry him; and it’s where they officially become husband and wife.
At Scripps Seaside Forum, overlooking the iconic Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California, Jessica and Tyler exchange the sweetest vows. Tyler is the cook between the two, and enjoys spoiling Jessica with delicious homemade dishes. In his vows, he adoringly called her, the cheese in his macaroni. (Yup, they’re kind of adorable.)
Below are some favorite moments from their beach elegance wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla, California.
The beautiful bride wore gorgeous Badgley Mischka bridal shoes. Bridesmaids were showered with gifts, including a Kate Spade bangle.
Each groomsman also received a personal gift from the groom.
Jessica, looked absolutely beautiful in her wedding dress.
The bride and groom’s First Look was at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. The gorgeous garden was perfect the perfect place for Tyler to see his bride for the first time.
Jessica and Tyler are a stunning couple, and they’re equally sweet. They’re completely, crushingly in love, and it’s hard not to smile as I look through their wedding photos.
Afterward, we headed to the beach! Their elegant coastal wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum was beautiful. The wedding venue was elegantly decorated with romantic ivory and white flowers, crystal chandeliers, candlelight, and gorgeous sea glass. Jewel tones, blues and seafoam mimicked the gorgeous ocean view.
A first kiss to remember! They’re MARRIED!
The reception was breathtaking.
The bride and groom enjoyed a few moments to take it all in right after the ceremony. Tyler and Jessica slow-dancing in candlelight…

During their first dance, Tyler sang along to “Forever Mine,” slow-dancing and serenading his bride.
During reception, we snuck out for romantic sunset portraits on the beach. We were rewarded by a gorgeous watercolor sunset on a cloudy Spring day.
Jessica and Tyler’s wedding day inspired a lot of love and affection from their family and friends.
Guests got to take home “s’more” love. Edible wedding favors are the best!
