K Cupid! It was the dating site that brought Holly and Michael together. Their warmth, their playfulness, their deep sense of family, and their undeniable love are among the many things they share that keeps them in love.
On a beautiful Fall day in San Diego, Holly and Michael say “I do”. Below are a few favorite photos from their love-filled, music-themed wedding at Maderas Golf Club in Poway, California.
As I walked into the “La Casita” bridal suite at Maderas Golf Club, my eyes fell upon Holly’s absolutely stunning wedding dress. I am pretty sure that I hopped up and squealed in excitement. Sparkling beads adorned the bodice of the wedding dress and the full gown simply made a statement. Wow!
Holly’s bouquet of red roses and succulent roses popped against her white dress and long, floor-length veil.
Meanwhile, the groom, Michael waited patiently to see his bride for the first time during the First Look.
I loved seeing Michael’s reaction to seeing Holly in her gorgeous wedding dress. His jaw fell and he kept saying, “Wow,” with a big smile on his face.
Holly’s bridesmaids wore a long red gown in different styles. 
They would walk down the aisle in all-white rose bouquets.
The bride and groom’s Boston Terrier, Panda, would also walk down the aisle. I love that he’s got his formal black and white tux on already–a bowtie makes the ensemble complete!
Michael is so in love with his beautiful bride, Holly. How he looks at her says it all.
The bride and groom included a modern handfasting ribbon ceremony in their vows, which originates from one of the oldest matrimonial traditions. From the Celtics of Scotland, to the Mayans of South America, and to the Middle East, versions of the handfasting ribbon ceremony can be found.
This ancient matrimonial tradition is where the modern expressions, “tying the knot,” and “hand in marriage” comes from. Each ribbon represents a promise that the bride and groom vow to each other.
Married!!! I love that Holly and Michael danced down the aisle–their hands still interlocked and wrapped in ribbons.
In lieu of flowers, each table had a cake decorated with a simple gold music note, and topped with roses and succulents! How sweet is that?!
Their ombre wedding cake was beautiful, and featured their dog, Panda!
Their wedding included an endless dessert bar with an array of delicious desserts.
By the bar, there’s a hilarious and fair warning to all guests to proceed with caution, since their wedding will be heavily photographed. Hahaha! I like that Holly and Michael infused their personalities in every detail of their wedding.
“That’s red carpet, right there,” Michael said about his beautiful wife.

Reception followed at Maderas Golf Club, where the newlyweds kicked it off with their First Dance as husband and wife.
During reception, glasses were raised and the party continued well into the evening.
I love this photo of their son, Rhys! He was all smiles on the dance floor.
