T he sweetest day began at the bridal suite at Rancho Bernardo Inn where Katie is getting ready with her mom and best girlfriends.
Katie looked cool, calm, and collected, although she confessed butterflies were fluttering. The big day is here and everyone couldn’t be happier for Katie and Kyle.
An elegant and classic wedding at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club was absolutely beautiful from Katie’s gorgeous bridal details, mint and gold decor, to the empire waist lace wedding dress that Katie wore. Katie also wore a necklace that she customized. It contains diamonds that once belonged to her grandmother, and worn by her mother on her wedding day. It was worn by three generations of beautiful women in her family.
In the bridal suite, Katie peeked out the window to see happy guests mingling outside. Her dad, who would escort her down the aisle, lit up with pride as he saw his beautiful daughter as a bride for the first time. Her dad and brother each gave her a heartfelt hug minutes before she walked down the aisle to marry Kyle.
The harpist played softly as Katie walked down the aisle… Kyle beamed. The ivy-covered gazebo at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club, adorned with full and romantic arrangements of blush pink and ivory roses made a perfect backdrop as they exchanged wedding vows.
With a kiss, the newlyweds walked down the aisle in bliss. Guests greeted them with joy as tiny little bubbles floated down the aisle. After the ceremony, we took romantic portraits of the newlyweds among towering cypress trees at CMRCC before their grand entrance.
Inside the reception hall, the large windows let in the most gorgeous light. Mahogany chiavari chairs surrounded each table. The reception was beautifully decorated with ivory linen, and gorgeous centerpieces. Romantic candle-lit lanterns surrounded with blush pink roses, baby’s breath, and an array of garden roses decorated each table. I loved how the florals were organically and loosely arranged. Mint-colored escort carts were the perfect pops of color against the crisp, clean linens, and blush pink florals.
Later, during reception, we would sneak out to capture the beautiful sunset with Katie and Kyle. The newlyweds shared a romantic moment and danced on the hills before returning to reception to celebrate the night away with their family and friends.
After dinner, dancing, desserts (cake and ice cream cookie sandwiches!) Katie and Kyle were sent off with well-wishes and sparklers. It was the perfect ending to a perfect wedding day at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club.
