Zach and Lexi flew from Dallas, Texas to sunny San Diego for a mini vacation. Lexi is originally from New York, but loves the California beaches. Being the amazing boyfriend that he is, Zach decided to take Lexi to a trip to San Diego. Lexi has never been to Coronado Beach and its white sands that stretch for miles.
San Diego weather did not disappoint during their visit. It was 80+ degree temperatures at Coronado Beach when they landed! Hand in hand, they strolled along the shore before a romantic dinner that Zach planned.
Around sunset, with the sun over their shoulders, and the Pacific ocean around them, he let Lexi know how much he loves her. Zach bent down to one knee and asked Lexi to be his wife.
She said yes!!! Beach goers and surfers in the water realized what was going on in front of them and cheered for the newly engaged couple! My heart skipped a beat!
After a strong embrace, and a few minutes of letting the amazing moment sink in, Zach revealed to Lexi that the proposal was being photographed. Lexi had no idea!
Zach gave Lexi a beautiful solitaire diamond ring. Nicely done, Zach! What a perfect proposal.
Lexi, you’re stunning and you’ll make a gorgeous bride. Those green eyes, though! 🙂
We spent a few minutes by Hotel Del Coronado and enjoyed the sunset before the happy couple continued their amazing dinner date. It’s a memorable day for Zach and Lexi that’s for sure!
Congratulations, Zach and Lexi! It was amazing to capture your surprise proposal. I’m so happy for you guys and wish you the best as you plan your wedding! Zach, thank you so much for trusting me to document this special milestone in your relationship. I’m honored to be your proposal and engagement photographer. Enjoy engaged life, you two!
xoxo,
