Fifteen kids and four years later, Tonya and Robert are still in love. Oh, wait I got the numbers flip-flopped. 😉 Four kids and fifteen years of marriage later, Tonya and Robert are still in love… While the kids were playing in the rose garden, these two stole a couple of minutes together, which I imagine is a rare and cherished moment when raising young children. Tonya and Robert sittin’ on a tree… K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage…
Then comes…Christina, Kayla, Veronica, and Daniel! The kids found their mom and dad making out under a tree. Laughter ensued and made for a fun family portrait session, with the kids adding a lot of energy and vibrancy to the portraits throughout the day.
The Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden located in Balboa Park is a beautiful place to spend a spring day in San Diego. Roses are blooming and the weather is perfect for a family portrait. All of the girls looked pretty in pink. Their outfits complimented their mom’s pink dress, and looked great against the backdrop of roses and greenery.
Christina is 12 years old, with sisters, Kayla (9 years old), and Veronica (8 years old.) These girls reminded me so much of me and my sisters. I can tell that they were close with how they played together. I have a soft spot for sisters because I treasure my friendship with my two younger sisters so much. My sisters have become my best friends as we got older.
I really enjoyed the kids’ reactions after their parents were being affectionate with each other infront of them. Check out Daniel’s face. Hahaha Just you wait, you’re only 7 now, but I bet kissing won’t be gross in a few years.
