chool’s out and the San Diego State University campus was empty sans a few people soaking up the afternoon sun while reading a book on the lawn. Savannah works at SDSU in the biology department and suggested that we take her family’s portraits there.
Her mom and stepdad are visiting from North Carolina and it was the perfect time to get together for casual family portraits with the whole family. Below is a photo of Tosha, Nicole, their mom, Betty, and Savannah. I really love this photo of all of the girls together–they look so happy.
Bobby took notice of all of the fragrant flowers at Scripps Cottage. He said that this flower smelled like Starburst candy. I took a whiff and it really did.
Below are photographs of the whole family, the girls and their men in tow: Tosha and her hubby, Vinny, Nicole and her hubby Zach, Bob and Betty, and Lucas and Savannah.
Many of my favorite images of the day were candid shots when no one was looking and unaware that I was snapping away. Here are my favorites of Tosha and Vinny.
I love it when my couples make out without me even asking them to for the photo. 🙂
Lucas and Savannah are super cute together.
Here’s another candid from the day. I had the pleasure of photographing Zach and Nicole back in December at Presidio Park. Check out their portraits here. They actually referred me to Savannah for these family portraits. I really enjoy it when I get to work with a client multiple times. It means that sessions become more personal, everyone’s more comfortable because I’ve gotten to know them more and more.
I hope you guys had fun! Thanks for allowing me to photograph your family.
XO,
Kristine
