It all began on Tinder. Both Alana and Eric swiped right, and were matched up! At the time, Eric had just moved to California from Ohio.
After many adventures traveling and trying new foods together, Eric and Alana got engaged in Ireland.
They celebrated their engagement with photos here in San Diego. Below are some pictures of their engagement session on a hiking trail in Poway.
How he proposed:
Eric and Alana went on a trip to Ireland and on their first full day, they went on a hike from a nearby village called Greystones, to Bray. What they didn’t realize is that it was a ten mile hike!
Eric later admitted he was unsure where during the hike he would propose and got more and more nervous as the hike went on. He was getting antsy thinking we may have passed the best spot.
About ten miles into the hike, they fell upon ruins of a stone house on a hillside. Alana climbed up a flight of steps first to take a panoramic video, and when she turned around, she was surprised to see Eric on one knee!
I had such a great time laughing with Alana and Eric during their engagement session in San Diego. I cannot wait for their wedding at a gorgeous venue in San Clemente, CA. Their wedding will be at Ole Hanson Beach Club with sweeping ocean views from the terrace. It’s going to be a beautiful day, celebrating such a sweet and adorable couple!
