Stephen + Nicole

It was a regular day. Nicole decided to stop by a local Starbucks coffee shop on her way to work. Little did she know that her barista would stir up her feelings as he handed her a coffee. She returned again to this same Starbucks another day…and another day. “What can I say, he makes really good coffee!” Nicole says about the barista,  Stephen.

Nicole still remembers how delicious the Starbucks Grasshopper Frappuccino was. (Seriously, coffee with chocolate chip ice cream is a secret weapon!)  Both of them quietly knew that there was a mutual attraction between them. It wasn’t long before her favorite barista becomes her boyfriend. Nicole and Stephen went on their first date at a Thai restaurant in San Diego, and they have been pretty much inseparable ever since.

It’s an understatement to say that they enjoy each other’s company. Simply their nearness brighten each other’s face, and it shows on camera. They love to watch movies together, grab sweet boba drinks and coffee, enjoy dinners at the many delicious restaurants that San Diego offers, and of course, grab chocolate chip ice cream for two.

Stephen and Nicole are an adorable couple, and it’s no denying that the love between them is true. Stephen is such a gentleman and cares for Nicole like no one she’s ever known. I just loved watching the two of them together because anyone could see how happy they are in each other’s company. During our portrait session at University Town Center in La Jolla, random strangers congratulated them, and one guy even offered to make them a wedding cake topper!

For our portrait session, Nicole and Stephen chose UTC in La Jolla, which is one of their favorite hangouts. Neither of them could stop smiling, and it made my job as their photographer so easy!
