harmed. That is what you feel when hanging out with Lindsay. She is lighthearted, down-to-earth, and so very lovely to photograph.  We laughed a lot during our creative headshot session at Balboa Park in San Diego.  My lens just loves her blue-green eyes. They seemed to change colors from blue to green, to turquoise as I photographed her throughout various settings in Balboa Park. She wanted creative outdoor headshots that she can use on her website for her paper goods business.  Lindsay owns Take Note! Creations and designs beautifully, detailed paper goods for weddings and events. Brides, be sure to check it out!Balboa Park Headshots | Outdoor Headshot Photography | Kristine Marie Photography

Lindsay and I tossed around different ideas for locations together. Since it is one of her favorite places to visit with her husband and two boys, Lindsay and I decided to hold an outdoor headshot session in Balboa Park. It was incredibly windy during our portrait session, but we used the weather to our advantage. I got some gorgeous headshots of Lindsay with her hair blowing in the wind. In fact, they’re my favorite images from our headshot session.  I think the images captures her creative spirit and confidence!

When Lindsay is not working and running her own business, she enjoys making memories with her two young boys. They love going to Sea World, the beach, and taking family trips any chance that they get. Lindsay adores spending time with her husband. They love traveling and dining in new restaurants together.

Lindsay shares four things that you may not know about her:  (I love #3. Gotta love a girl that knows what she wants!)

1.) I was born & raised in Wisconsin, but always felt drawn to the ocean so when I was 23, I packed my car up and moved to San Diego.  As soon as I got here, I felt like I was home.

2.) I don’t watch TV or drink soda.

3.) I met my husband at work, liked him right away and after a couple months, I walked up to him and told him he should take me out on a date.  He did and we’ve been together ever since.

4.) I was an only child until I was 16.

I hope that you enjoyed these outdoor headshots of Lindsay. I invite you to follow me on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on my latest work!

I love the carefree look of the wind blowing her hair! And the bright, soft look of the colored portraits are lovely.

Great work! I love the black and whites as well, they are so beautiful!

These are adorable. I can feel how open you are to your clients from these, by how she opens up to you. Wonderful work.

That light. Oh I love it when gals get in front of the camera for some new photos! LOVE

Thanks, Victoria. The black and white ones were her favorite, too. 🙂

Shani, you are keen, girl! A lot of thought was put into location, and we picked that one door at that one museum because of those things you mentioned! I think it's so cool that you noticed those details.
