You wanted one of those circular saws for our four year wedding anniversary.  Lately, your power tools are not unlike my growing arsenal of camera equipment, so I was happy to give you a gift that I know will get a lot of use.  We went to Home Depot and got one that afternoon. That same day, I come home from my trip to Target (to buy you an anniversary card, some household goods and a few other things that I didn’t know I needed) and you’ve already built a table. I was impressed, but really not surprised.  It is one of those things that I love about our relationship: we are doers.  We get things done. We like to move fast, don’t we? It took a year or two to adjust to each other’s pace and to learn each other’s stride, but it feels great to be at full-speed ahead with you.  I am a dreamer and sometimes over-think things, but you and I together make things happen. I love that and I love you. I cannot believe it has been four years already! I’m excited for what lays ahead, and grateful that you’ll be by my side, always.

Happy Anniversary, husband!  You are the kind of man that every woman hopes for. I’m blessed to be married to you.

Here are some photos that we took before the military ball that we attended last month. A special thank you to my sister, Katherine for taking these a few minutes before we headed out the door.
