Everyone loves a little sparkle, especially during the holidays. Here’s a super easy do-it-yourself, gift that is sure to make someone smile. Succulents are one of the easiest plants to take care of. Thus, I’ve grown to love them (no pun intended.) I mean, c’mon, they’re exotic-looking, low-maintenance, and actually thrives on neglect? I got this. I started to collect different succulent plants after my dad gifted me a few as a housewarming present. Soon, I was able to propagate them from cuttings. Meanwhile, another orchid plant dies by my not-so-green thumbs.
For this DIY sparkly succulent gift, you can use cuttings from your succulent plants and repot them, or you can do what I did and purchase succulents from the nursery or your local Farmer’s market.
Things that you’ll need:
- Succulents in a small pot
- Thick, glittery ribbon
- Stapler or glue gun
What you need to do:
Wrap the thick, glittery ribbon around the succulent pot. Staple it together or use a glue gun to hold it in place. That’s it. No fuss. These sparkly succulents will make for great wedding favors for your wedding guests! Sparkly succulents also make for a pretty office plant, a hostess gift, or tabletop decor.
A cute note attached to it will add a nice touch to your DIY sparkly succulent gift: “Leave a little sparkle everywhere you g[r]o[w]…” 🙂
